Introduction
The purpose of this document is to indemnify Harley-Davidson® Inc., Harley-Davidson® Europe Ltd., their corporate affiliates, the Harley Owners Group ("H.O.G.®"), authorised Harley-Davidson® dealer(s), local H.O.G.® chartered chapter(s), and their respective officers, directors, employees, marshals and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") against claims based on negligence arising from motorcycle-related events connected with these parties or the Clearwater Chapter.
Acknowledgement
By signing this indemnity, I acknowledge that I understand the nature of motorcycling activities and the risks inherent in them. I sign this indemnity knowing that these activities involve risks and dangers of serious injury, including permanent disability, paralysis and death. I further acknowledge that the Road Accident Fund may be delayed and, in certain cases — particularly for motorcycle passengers — may be severely limited or inadequate.
Indemnity
By signing below, I indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties against all claims by me, my estate and/or my dependants for death, personal injury or property damage resulting from the negligence of the Released Parties.
Minor Children and Dependants
Where applicable, I also sign on behalf of my minor children and dependants, which may be severe and permanent. I acknowledge that, in doing so, I waive claims on behalf of the minor or dependant in respect of the above risks and dangers, which may be severe and permanent.
Authorisation to Take Photographs
I understand that the Released Parties may take photographs of participants at event(s) for use in related materials. I have no objection to my photograph being taken and used for this purpose. I understand that my image may be captured and used in all media forms by the Chapter and its assigns. This release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual. By signing this Release and Authorisation to Photograph, I certify that I have read and fully understand it, and that I am not relying on any statements or representations made by the Released Parties.
Communications
I consent to receiving communications via email, SMS, WhatsApp and other social media platforms regarding Harley-Davidson® and H.O.G.® Clearwater Chapter events and activities.
Certification
By signing this indemnity and authorisation, I certify that I have read and fully understand them. I acknowledge that I am giving up substantial rights that I, or a minor, would otherwise have had to recover damages.
